Chandler, AZ: From Family Spooktaculars to Late-Night Costume Crawls

by Heath Sullivan

Halloween in Chandler is all about balance — where kids can trick-or-treat safely by day and adults can party in costume by night.

For kids & families: Join the community at Chandler’s Halloween Spooktacular in Dr. A.J. Chandler Park (178 E Commonwealth Ave). This free event runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and features trick-or-treat booths, a “Little Monsters Zone,” inflatables, carnival games, and two costume parades (6:15 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.). Local vendors and food trucks round out the night, making it one of Chandler’s most anticipated family events of the year. (chandleraz.gov/events/halloween-spooktacular)

For adults: Once the kids are home, Chandler’s nightlife turns spooky at the Halloween Bar Crawl – Downtown Chandler, where hundreds of costumed locals pack the streets for live music, themed cocktails, and a night of laughs and revelry. Prizes for best costume and a buzzing social scene make it the go-to event for grown-ups. (eventbrite.com)

From kid-friendly candy to adult cocktails, Chandler’s Halloween lineup proves there’s something for everyone under the Arizona moon.
